About Problem Squadron

I've taken up this page to tell everyone a little about why I'm wasting bandwidth with my attempt to create a piece of the Star Wars Universe.
The first thing is that I've read a lot of the Star Wars novels out there. In my opinion, some of them are incredibly good. Most aren't. Even the books that I throughly enjoyed had a number of things that nagged at me when I read them.
I also have to thank Greg, as he has become my offical editor/proof reader.

In Problem Squadron do not expect:

Anyone from Tatooine. Sounds like a real remote planet with so many heroes coming from it, doesn't it? I think Biggs, Luke, Gaven, and the few I forgot to mention were enough.
Force Abilities. Evidently the Emperor did a really poor job killing off all the Jedi with the numbers that keep popping up in the novels.
Anything about Corellian's not liking odds. One sentence by Han Solo became the defining statment on all Corellians? I still don't understand that one.
Don't expect a lot of the orginal movie characters. George Lucas created a great setting to play in. Would a Star Wars story be any less interesting without Luke in it?

Hopefully you'll enjoy the stories as they come up. There are a few things I'm looking for:

Any illustrators out there who end up liking what they read. Let me know, I'd love to get some character sketches.
A script for getting the scrolling text like at the beginning of all the movies. Starwars' own site has it (I'm not there cause I don't like their page builder). But it doesn't work on sites not on their server. So if anyone wants to lend a helping hand.
